Studio Metallo is located in Barrio Escalante, one of the oldest but charming areas of San José. The professional staff and top quality equipment combine to produce a very stimulating environment for the learning of jewelry design and crafting techniques.  Our students learn essential and specialized techniques as well as the use of creativity and originality to aid the expression of beauty and esthetics in their work. The courses offered at each level are part of an active methodology taught by internationally experienced professionals.  These courses are composed of the following sequence:  1. Technical jewelry design and construction workshop arranged in 7 levels. Each lasts 4 months.  2. Intensive theoretical-practical courses taught by professional jewelers.  3. A B.A. Degree in Visual Arts with emphasis in Jewelry Making (Coming up).  Studio Metallo students will be given the opportunity to participate in both national and international shows aiming to engage in work and research groups in their final quarter, giving them the opportunity to eventually create their own line of jewelry.
